I don't really know much about the Amazon affiliate program, I'm afraid. Of course, the affiliate formula is simple: the more traffic you send, the more you earn. But you'll have to talk to Amazon about the specifics of their program.

Hi Wayaeti,

You can already do this by copying the 20 keywords into one of the combiner windows and then copying keywords A, B and C into another of the combiner windows and clicking on the "Use Blank" option in the combiner window that contains keywords A, B and C.

Also, the program already has find, replace and highlight, unless I misunderstand what you mean.

Note that the combiner is only available in the professional edition. This may also be the case for find and replace.

David

It would be very valuable to be able to add a specific set of additional key words to the front or back of a list. In the case of adding say 3 new words different keywords A, B, C, to the back of a 20 keyword list, the result would be 20 A keywords, 20 B, and 20 C keyword phrases. Result 80 keywords, 20 original plus the new 60. A find/replace/highlight would also be of help. Great product!

Hi Damon,

I am working on a new release now. The only issue of yours that I haven't been able to address is the option to use menus; there would be a great deal of redesign involved. However, if you can tell me quickly what functions you use most often, I may be able to provide keyword shortcuts for them.

If you want this in for the next release, I need to know ASAP - I am gearing up for a release during the weekend.

Best regards,

David

Hi Damon,

I did reply to you personally, which is why I did not post a reply to the blog.

Rest assured that the product is still supported and although it may take me some time to add new features from time to time due to other commitments, I will continue to do so.

I am currently planning to release a new version of Keyword Transformer next month.

Best regards,

David

It's been over 2 months since I made that last post and I haven't heard a single thing. I guess this product is no longer supported. That's unfortunate.

Damon
1/20/09

One more feature request - shortcut keys (aka, access keys; eg, Alt+F opens the File menu in other programs). Having to position the mouse over tiny buttons and check boxes is slow and becomes annoying after awhile.

Thanks,
Damon

Unsure whether this is by design, but it can be troublesome if overlooked: a blank line in the Input Keyword List still gets transformed. I'm not sure when this would ever be done intentionally; for me, it always happens after I copy/paste my list and forget to delete all the trailing spaces. A simple Trim() on this input field would be most appreciated ;-)

Hi David,
I'm very happy with Keyword Transformer - it's really become a time saver! There's one feature that is missing that is absolutely necessary - a means to quickly COPY the contents of the Input Keyword List. In a perfect world, I'd merely want Ctrl-A (Windows standard shortcut for selecting all) enabled in this field so I can quickly select everything and then Ctrl-C to copy it. See, I generally use the Combine feature for building my keyword lists and then copy them to Excel. This is the one step that repeatedly slows me down. If I could remember to scroll up to the top and hit Ctrl-Shift-End, that accomplishes the same 'select all'; however, I don't normally remember that until after I've pounded Ctrl-A a couple times and remember that it's not enabled.

Being able to clear the Combine fields would be handy also.

I also discovered an obscure glitch. When using the Combine feature, if you put a check in the Use Blank field, Create Input List, then go back to Combine - any field that has Use Blank checked will then have an additional blank line added at the bottom. Repeat this a couple times without changing anything and you'll see what I mean. This can become a headache if you are experimenting with your lists and forget to delete these added blank lines each time because it does indeed skew the generated input lists.

Anyway, just some positive feedback that I hope will help enhance the program. Overall though, great job!

Thanks,
Damon
